Hope Scholars walks alongside students who have the capacity and desire, but not the means, to complete high school and attend university in Honduras.

“Rise up. This matter is in your hands. We will support you, so take courage, and do it.”
Ezra 10:4
For most of our scholars, the gap between staying in school and stepping away from it is not talent or ambition — it's a few hundred dollars a semester. A bus fare. A registration fee. A textbook the family simply cannot afford this month.
We close that gap. By covering the precise costs that would otherwise force a student to walk away, we let them keep showing up — and let the years of work they've already poured into their education carry them to a degree, a career, and a future built at home.

Education is strongest when it grows where a student is already rooted — in the language, family, and community that know them. By keeping students at home, we strengthen the support around them instead of pulling them away from it.

Volunteer, share, or organize a fundraiser in your hometown.

Our scholars wake up early, walk long roads, carry siblings and households, and still show up to class. We simply remove the financial barrier so their work can carry them the rest of the way.
Most of our donors give modestly and faithfully. Together, that quiet generosity has sent students from rural villages to university lecture halls.
