As the year draws to a close, I want to take a moment to share some exciting updates and heartfelt thanks. This year has been a time of growth, learning, and deepening commitment to our mission of providing equitable opportunity through scholarships in Honduras. Our journey has been marked by new partnerships, expanded leadership, and the incredible resilience of the students we serve. I am grateful for every supporter who has walked alongside us, and I invite you to reflect on what we have achieved together—and what lies ahead.

Growing Our Team and Partnerships
This year, we strengthened our foundation by expanding our board and leadership team. Fresh perspectives and renewed energy have helped us refine our programs and deepen our impact. One of the most meaningful developments has been our collaboration with Ambassadors for Christ. Their dedication and shared vision have opened new doors for us, allowing us to reach more students and communities across Honduras.
Our leadership team has worked closely with partners to design programs that address the unique challenges faced by students in different regions—from the northern coast to the southern areas and the capital, Tegucigalpa. This collaboration ensures that our scholarship program remains responsive and relevant, providing equitable opportunity regardless of where a student lives.
Scholarship Funding and Impact
In 2025, we proudly funded six scholars with more than $23,000 in scholarships. These funds have supported students pursuing their dreams, helping cover tuition, books, and other essential expenses. The impact goes beyond numbers; it transforms lives and communities.
Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited to welcome new scholars who will begin their studies with our support. However, we still face a funding gap to fully meet our commitments for the coming year. Sadly, we had to turn away six applicants this year due to lack of funds. These students showed remarkable tenacity, especially many young women who reached out courageously for support. Their determination inspires us to work harder to secure the resources needed.
Our scholars come from diverse parts of Honduras, reflecting the broad reach of our program. From the vibrant streets of Tegucigalpa to remote coastal villages, these students represent the future leaders of their communities. Providing equitable opportunity means ensuring that no matter where a student lives, they have access to education and the chance to succeed.
The Need for Monthly Donors
Sustaining and expanding our scholarship program requires steady support. Monthly donors play a crucial role in providing reliable funding that allows us to plan confidently and respond quickly to student needs. If you have considered becoming a monthly donor, now is the perfect time to join us.
Your ongoing support helps us:
Cover tuition and educational expenses for current and future scholars
Expand our reach to more students across Honduras
Build stronger partnerships and develop new programs that address barriers to education
Every monthly gift, no matter the size, contributes to creating a stable foundation for these young scholars. Together, we can ensure that more students receive the equitable opportunity they deserve.

Looking Toward 2027
Our vision for 2027 is ambitious. We want to expand our scholarship program to reach even more students and deepen our impact in Honduras. This growth depends on the generosity and prayers of our community.
Please join us in praying for doors to open—whether that means new funding sources, partnerships, or opportunities to serve more students. We believe that with faith and collective effort, we can overcome the challenges ahead.
As we celebrate the progress made this year, we also recognize the work still to be done. The need for equitable opportunity in Honduras remains great, and your support is vital to meeting that need.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Your faith, generosity, and commitment make a real difference in the lives of young scholars striving for a brighter future. Together, we can continue to build a foundation of hope and opportunity in Honduras.
